Narrative
According to a Biography in the National Archive (of Rev. John Hyatt) John's wife was a niece of Rev. Daniel Vardy, the first dissenting minister of Sherborne. This must be a spelling error with Varder as no Vardy line exists in records, Daniel Varder was a Dissenting Minister who arrived in sherborne around 1757, and some time after, his Niece Elizabeth Westcombe joined him. Daniel Varder was ordained a Minister 06/10/1757 in Sherborne...
The above is all confirmed in a letter written by the Rev. Joseph Ogle in 1889 to George Hyatt, after a request from George for help on the Rev. John Hyatt's early life. Joseph Ogle refers to "the Rev. Daniel Varder of Wellington"
