Nicholas Bradbee citizen and barber by apprenticeship, son of Aaron Bradbee late of Bunhill Road London Brass Founder, deceased. Apprenticed to James Rogers of Dowgate Hill London Citizen and barber for 7 years from 4 May 1784. (so apprenticed at 14yrs as usual)

 

Admitted to Barbers Guild (Livery) 1784, apprenticed until 1791. Became a self made Silk lace and Worsted fringe manfacturer at 115 Newgate St, and stayed there until he died. This is the very first reference to the Silk Tassell manf. that George Hyatt eventually aquired on record - the beginnings of the family company.
