Narrative
Alf was once in the Merchant Navy and later he worked on the Bus service from Thornton Heath Garage, South Croydon, c1960/70's. He married Jean Terry and then lived in and around South London in the 70's. Jean was not his first wife. The couple went to live in Bruce House, London, a large homeless shelter, where Alf was the living-in Manager. Later they moved to Lincolns' Inn, London and he eventually retired to Norfolk.
